Mission Statement
To re-establish Mother Mary Mission as a community hub for social, educational, economic, and targeted housing endeavors. The present board of Mother Mary Mission Incorporated is dedicated to continue the work started by the by the Vincentian Sisters of Charity and the Salvatoran Priests and Brothers: to provide services to the undeserved population of Russell County and the bi-city area.
Mother Mary Mission, Inc. is seeking to repurpose a once thriving Catholic Institution – school, church, and community center- into a community hub for social, educational, housing and economic endeavors. It is designed to reinvest in a distressed community while creating housing, jobs and other economic opportunities.
Mother Mary Mission, Inc. engages in many activities and events in the community, ranging from youth basketball games to volunteer efforts.
